As part of the implementation of the RES-MAB (PRIMA) project, aimed at developing adaptation and mitigation solutions based on the Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems (WEFE) Nexus, ANDZOA organized a launch workshop gathering all project stakeholders. This event served as a strategic opportunity to present the project’s objectives and components and to kickstart a collaborative dynamic among key actors committed to enhancing the resilience of Mediterranean Biosphere Reserves to climate change.🔹 Key Workshop Highlights:✅ Presentation of the project’s objectives and allocated resources✅ Identification of intervention areas within the Argan Biosphere Reserve✅ Exploration of WEFE Nexus solutions to strengthen climate resilience✅ Introduction to the three-layer business model framework💡 Discussions focused on climate challenges affecting the Argan Biosphere Reserve, particularly recurring droughts, and assessed the relevance of WEFE Nexus-based approaches for integrated and sustainable management of natural resources.👏 ANDZOA extends its gratitude to all partners and stakeholders for their commitment and participation. Additional meetings and workshops will be organized to ensure structured follow-up and to strengthen synergies among RES-MAB project stakeholders.
