As part of its efforts to implement the RES-MAB project, the Association for the Protection of Jabal Moussa held a series of meetings with the local community.
The first meeting involved guesthouse owners, handicraft artisans, and agro-food producers. Discussions focused on past achievements, the action plan for the next five years, and the RES-MAB project goals and planned activities. The meeting focused on the importance of improving the quality of local products while expanding marketing opportunities.
The second meeting was held with the guards and field personnel of Jabal Moussa, emphasizing the enhancement of their skills and capacities. Key achievements were reviewed, and a summary of the project’s main directions and action plan.
As an outcome of these meetings, a steering committee for the project will be established, representing the various community entities.
